
A suicide bomber detonated a vehicle in front of a courthouse in the G-11 area of Islamabad, killing 12 people and injuring 27.
According to initial reports, the explosion occurred near the courthouse and affected bystanders.
Sources at PIMS Hospital say that, based on reports received so far, the bodies of 12 people and between 20 and 22 injured have been taken to the hospital, while Federal Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed 27 injuries.
State television claims that Narendra Modi is conducting false flag operations in Delhi and that, through his allies, the Afghan Taliban and Fitnat al-Khawarij, he has perpetrated terrorist acts, first at Wana Cadet College and now in Islamabad.
Earlier, after receiving information about the explosion, police and rescue teams arrived at the scene. Rescue sources indicated that several lawyers were also injured in the blast.
Following the explosion outside the courthouse, the building was evacuated. Lawyers, judges, and citizens were evacuated. Citizens and lawyers were moved to the rear of the courthouse complex, and the judges were also relocated.
According to police, the explosion occurred in a car parked in the courthouse parking lot. The cause of the explosion is under investigation. The blast was heard across much of the capital and caused widespread panic.
The terrorist was unable to enter the courthouse for security reasons.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived at the site of the suicide attack in the G-11 area of Islamabad, reviewed the rescue operations, and gave instructions for the best possible treatment of the injured.
The Interior Minister informed reporters that so far 12 people have died and 27 have been injured in the suicide attack, and that the injured are receiving treatment.
The Interior Minister stated that the suicide bomber arrived and stopped here. First, he tried to enter to detonate the bomb, but couldn’t find a way in. Then, when a police vehicle arrived, he attacked it. Everyone entering the courthouse is being checked.
