On a historic night witnessed by the world, the two Egyptian sisters, Amira and Mariam Abu Zahra, captivated the hearts of those present and the audience with a magical violin performance as part of the legendary opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The talented duo presented a unique musical piece that fused Western classical melodies with an authentic Eastern spirit.
Their harmonious and emotive performance demonstrated great technical skill, and the audience reacted enthusiastically to the masterful execution; at the end of the segment, warm applause was heard as an expression of their great admiration.
The duo dazzled on the main stage of the celebration with a golden look inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization, while behind them giant screens displayed images and videos of the museum’s most outstanding treasures and artifacts, including the collections of King Tutankhamun, giving the segment a profound visual and historical dimension.
Amira and Mariam’s performance was accompanied by the World Orchestra conducted by Maestro Nayer Nagy, as well as a huge choir, in a wonderful artistic combination that united the vitality of youth with the experience of veteran musicians.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will attend the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, a landmark event in the history of human culture and civilization. Seventy-nine official delegations are expected to participate in the opening ceremony, including thirty-nine delegations headed by kings, princes, and heads of state and government. This reflects the international community’s interest in ancient Egyptian civilization and the unique cultural and humanitarian role Egypt plays.
The official spokesperson stated that this unprecedented representation and attendance at the inauguration of the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization reflects international interest in the Egyptian state’s vision of combining the richness of the past, the creativity of the present, and the prosperity of the future. It also confirms Egypt’s unique position as a civilizational bridge between all peoples of the world who love culture and peace.
